Review:
I haven't had the microphones very long, (I bought two) but they were excellent value for money and sound far better than they should for such low cost Condenser Microphones. They also look quite stunning in their smoky black chrome finish and feel well made, if a bit of a finger print magnet. As an added bonus they come complete with a shockmount, a wind cover and polishing cloth all in a nice aluminium flight case. Absolutely brilliant for a project or home studio.

Review:
this mic' turned out to be much better than i thought it would be. It has a warm tone to it and the top end is nicely present with a rich bottom end. It's not a neutral mic' but then i didn't want that. It handles the transients on acoustic hand drums without problems and is great for vocals. For the price it is an absolute bargain. It comes with case, suspension mount and windshield.
totally recommend it as a second studio mic' and it's so good that it would do as your only studio mic'.

Review:
I had avantone cv-12 before.. For such money - it's almost same quality mic, it's a really decent product to say. Pity I received it with a little scratch on.. I love it comes with the original tissue to cover it from the dust. I definitely recommend it to anyone who looks for a good mic for a small price

Review:
I needed a mic to use for snare drum. This mic can take high sound pressure levels, so I was not disappointed!

It comes in a nice aluminium flight case, which was quite a surprise at this price. It also has a good quality shock mount, a foam windshield, and a cleaning cloth? No mic cable though, but was to be expected at that price.

As a mic on the cheap end of the scale, it didn't come with any frequency response chart, but in use it appeared to have a peak at around 5-6Khz, which is just what I wanted for my snare drum & hi-hat sound. As such it would probably be quite good for a male vocal too.

The bass response is quite sensitive, so although I haven't yet tried it on a vocal, I would suspect that the foam windshield alone may not always be sufficient.

The only problem I had was that it has quite a high gain. Even at full attenuation the input level still clipped occasionally. A pad switch would be a good addition.

Altogether a robust and decent mic with a lovely shiny black chrome finish at great value for money.
