The Cinematique Instruments Marble Sequencing Instrument is a two-track 16-step sequencer, with each step editable in terms of volume, pan, filter, tune, drive and so on. In all there are 11 of these adjustable parameters, and Marble features 63 different sound sources to feed the available tracks. On top of this there are 13 effects which are manually adjustable in 127 steps. Marble requires a full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (version 5.3 or higher) in order to run.
Alongside some of Cinematique Instruments’ more popular instruments are samples recorded especially for Marble, including a Gretsch Jazz drum kit, a cello trio and a marimba. Most of these sounds exist in several round-robin variations and dynamic layers and produce natural, organic audio patches.
Real-Time sound shaping is available to process audio created within the sequencer area. This sound passes a complex effect matrix, adding low/high pass filters, compression, distortion and more.
