Review:
I have ordered this particular item for two reasons; it operates at 192kHz and has no gain controls to tamper with. These are very important features as I intend to use it specifically for audio measurements. Before purchasing I had contacted the manufacturer's technical services; they provided me with answers that made me confident that it would be adequate.
I have received the unit and conducted several tests and I came to the evidence that the Higher sampling rate is note well implemented and does not take advantage. The HF response, which I could expect to be between 70 and 90 kHz, is in fact about 30kHz, and what's worse, the response is not flat, with more than 3 dB variation in various parts of the spectrum. I will return the unit ASAP.
