-superb sound quality
-ability to store and recall presets, and within presets give sensible names to ins and outs
-complete flexibility to route two inputs into any of six outputs.
-inputs may also be summed and this sum can be sent to any of the outputs (e.g. to sum left and right for a subwoofer)
-highpass, lowpass and bandpass filters can be applied to any input and any output.
-these filters can be set to reduce or increase gain, so for example a low pass filter can be used to provide low step gain, for example for baffle-step compensation
-there are also dynamic filters. Good luck with those - I can't see a use in my application.
-hard-limited to 0dB on inputs and outputs
-If you use lots of filters, you'll quickly run out of processing power. Dynamic EQ seems to eat it up most. Just the regular EQ is fine but you'll be on the edge of the unit's capabilities if you run six channels with two 4th order filters on each and on the inputs.
DV sent me this unit with a euro mains lead! But quickly sent me a UK one when I emailed.
