This is a good case for the money. The SM48 (MkII in my case) screws into a pair of raked rails. There is a drop down flap for cable exists. There is enough room in the back for the PSU, a 4-way plugboard and probably also a DMX cable. There is a compartment at the rear left too - probably designed for the power supply if disconnected.
To give this 5 stars, the manufacturers would need to spend about 10 pence more. (1) the plastic washers under the screws that hold the desk down are shockingly thin, they just crease up when the screws are tightened. I replaced with some proper M6 nylon washers for a proper job (2) the rivets holding the handle itself to the handle brackets are very poor. I might drill them out and use some long M2.5 screws/nuts in place, before the handle drops off whilst I'm carrying it.
There is no foam lining but this is ok since the SM48 screws in place.
Otherwise a descent case for not a lot of money.
