This is a good keyboard, the action feels good to play synth lines and even holding pads etc. Definitely not for playing piano though.
This is not just a straight plug and play device though. Behringer clearly haven't spent enough time developing this yet and as such there are problems.
Firstly, you can only update the firmware via PC at the moment, there is no option to update via Mac.
Secondly, you have to get used to the fact that this is essentially two MIDI controllers in one package. There is the straight MIDI mode which allows you to use the board as a normal MIDI controller and assign function as you wish. then there is MC mode which is the Mackie control mode. This allows you to use the motorised faders in connection with your DAW.
Some things i have noticed so far...
In MC mode the sustain pedal seems to send a note message instead of CC64 for sustain, i haven't figured out how to change this yet.
The drum pads are mapped to start at F5 so aren't properly mapped for normal drum kit mappings. this is easily fixed by going into the sub menu MIDI 4. Change Control and then mapping each pad.
