Some wicked sounds, I use it in a guitar rig with a Boss SX700 & the two together work really nicely. The manual is a bit disjointed, I am still trying to find out how to switch the the unit to the user defined patches with a midi foot controller instead of just changing the factory presets, there's nothing in the manual about this. I did find a paragraph tucked away on the Behringer site saying that a 'CC 0' value the factory presets and that if this value is changed to '1' it will initiate the user patch area which the foot controller will then change but it doesn't say where to find this 'CC 0' value and more importantly WHY is it not in the manual?! Apart from that it's a nice looking, rugged unit that is packed with good quality effects and the price is amazing for a unit with that many goodies. I have given it 4 out of 5 stars as the online manual is a let down and although it's not the manufacturers fault I feel the outlets for this product should know more about the products they are selling, they can support the user more.

I am using my fx2000 in a home recording environment which I am new to.(BASS PLAYER) I am 24 hours in with the new unit and so far so good. actually so far so BRILLIANT! the effects are superb and the unit has a very user friendly interface. minor drawbacks? the unit displays the identity of the effects in use at any given time but the names are shortened on the display making it hard to know what the display means. so you need the manual to hand during use. also supplied with a german mains plug and an adapter for uk use. easier to replace with an English lead. also could use a footswitch to operate it hands free. but overall? superb and for the price, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. dv247 are great and deliver the goods EL RAPIDO !

A good all rounder once you have worked out how to use it which can take some time. Nice price too. Nothing else comes close for the money. It needs a mixer or amp with Aux sends and returns as it cannot be connected directly between instruments or mic to amp direct unlike some other brands, but the number, quality and usability of the effects make it worth the extra effort connecting everything up.
