Review:
Being curious about noise gates this pedal at £24 seemed a good price to satisfy my curiosity.
Comes with a German language only instruction sheet, no obvious suggested settings shown.
I am using this with a single coil pickup guitar, through a Marshall Class 5.
The Threshold setting (rotary knob) ranges from +10dB to -70.
In use I have found that -40 is as far to the clockwise that allows notes to sound without obvious clipping. Depends what you want.
The toggle switch controls Hard/Soft in soft setting the cut off of noise and notes is gradual, in the Hard position the effect is applied rapidly with no taper.
So far I am finding an increased clarity when playing single notes, this seems to boost the note, but is probably due to the lack of other noise.
I am happy with the pedal, still learning how it works best
