The 8010APM Pair is a bundle that consists of 2 x Genelec 8010A.
The Genelec 8010A is a professional studio monitor with a 3” woofer and a ¾” tweeter. It’s extremely compact design make them ideal for mobile and home studio setups alike. Don’t be fooled by their size though, they still pack a serious punch for such a tiny speaker!

Used as b monitors in studio with 8050a as main monitors these 8010 have phenomenal sound punchy clear unbelievable for their size genelec are top top monitors!
Pros crystal clear, detailed sound, very very small, solid build qualityCons not cheap (but worth it) lacking very low end bass (I intend to add a sub)I chose these over the more obvious (yellow coned) alternative based on sound and build quality reputation and I am not disappointed - they are absolutely fantastic!
Great price, excellent response and some good features to compensate for quirks of your room. They are a compact size and very light (about 2kg each) and the bass response is amazing for such a small unit. They look very smart to and the isolating mounts are perfect for a desk. Good price considering the quality!
This is my first pair of actual studio monitors so I can't offer any kind of comparative opinion. The space I have is limited and keeping the size down was important to me. I read reviews on several smaller monitors and these seemed well liked so I gave them a go (the decision was helped by a great deal from dv247). I had feared that the bass response may be a bit weak and that the reviews were kind for fear of upsetting advertising revenue. But that's not the case and are great for my use (mostly blues/jazz/rock/pop). They are plenty loud for me too. They offer a lot of detail, there's wonderful sense of space and listening with them I feel completely immersed. I use them on a desk top on either side of my laptop and the sweet spot seems quite tight but is in no way problematic. As I said, they are my first monitors I guess this may be normal for near field devices. In short, I'm really very pleased with them.
